You know somebody everywhere you go.
Your network is suspiciously impressive.
You don't enter a room without finding somebody you know. There's always a number in your phone, a friend of a friend, or somebody who can make something happen. You're not networking. This is apparently just how you exist.

The Bud Authority terpene cheat sheet
Five aromatic compounds, what they smell like, and where else in the plant world you have already met them.
The compound behind the sharp citrus lift you get off a lemon rind. In flower it reads bright and clean, and it is usually the first thing people name when a jar smells like fruit.
Also found in Citrus peel, juniper, peppermint
One of the most common aromatic compounds in cannabis. Earthy and slightly sweet, closer to damp herbs and ripe fruit skin than to anything sharp.
Also found in Mango, hops, lemongrass, thyme
The peppery bite. It is the reason some flower smells like a spice rack, and it carries a dry, woody edge underneath the heat.
Also found in Black pepper, clove, cinnamon, basil
Soft and floral, the note most people recognise from lavender. Usually sits in the background and rounds off sharper aromas.
Also found in Lavender, coriander, birch bark
Forest-floor freshness. The most widely occurring terpene in the plant world, and the one that makes a jar smell like a walk through conifers.
Also found in Pine needles, rosemary, dill, basil
