Bud Brokers // Buyer Network Registration
Join the buyer network.
How the network works
Reviewed. NDA-gated. Criteria-matched.
- Reviewed
- Every registration is reviewed by a person. Approval is not automatic and is not guaranteed.
- NDA-gated
- Approved buyers execute an NDA before receiving anything that could identify a business.
- Criteria-matched
- You see opportunities that fit your stated criteria and license eligibility, not a feed.
- Permissioned
- Access is per opportunity, logged, and revocable.
- Proof of funds
- Before detailed information moves, financial capability is demonstrated.
Fit
Who the network is for
Multi-state operators adding density or entering a state, regional operators adding a store or a license type, emerging single-license operators expanding, family offices and sponsors deploying capital into plant-touching businesses, search funds with a defined cannabis thesis, and real estate investors buying facilities in sale-leasebacks. Every buyer type is matched only to opportunities whose ownership rules they can satisfy in that state.
- Multi-state operators
- Density plays, new-state entry, licensed manufacturing for house brands.
- Regional operators
- A store, a cultivation license or a delivery permit inside a state they already run.
- Emerging operators
- Single-license owners expanding, or license holders acquiring an operating store.
- Family offices and sponsors
- Long-hold capital that wants operating cannabis companies, not auctions.
- Search funds
- A defined thesis, committed capital, and a need for proprietary deal flow.
- Real estate investors
- Facilities and retail property in sale-leasebacks, separated from the license.
Inside the network
What approved buyers receive
Approved buyers receive anonymous opportunity cards matched to their criteria, each carrying an internal identifier, the license type, the market, an operating-scale band and a confidential process note. Financial and operating information is released only after the applicable NDA is executed and access to that specific deal is approved. Access is per deal, logged, and revocable.
- Identifier
- An internal reference in place of a name, until disclosure is authorized in writing by the seller.
- What is described
- License type, market, established or pre-revenue, scale band, and the nature of the process.
- What is not described
- Name, address, license number, ownership, financial statements. Those follow NDA and deal-level approval.
- After NDA and approval
- CIM or deal book, financial summary, management Q&A, diligence request list, secure data room, key dates, transaction contact.
- Access controls
- Per-deal permissions, watermarking where practical, activity logging, immediate revocation.
- Status you will see
- Teaser, NDA required, CIM available, LOI, under contract, closed. Never a public listing.

Access, approval and what you will see
8 answered
- 01Does registering give me access to deals?
- No. Registration enters an internal review queue. Approved buyers are invited to authenticate, execute the applicable NDA and see only the opportunities that match their stated criteria and state eligibility. The public website never exposes an opportunity portal.
- 02What does approval depend on?
- Fit with the mandates we are running, demonstrated financial capability, and whether your ownership structure can pass background review in the states you named. We may ask for proof of funds before any detailed information moves.
- 03How are opportunities described before I sign an NDA?
- As anonymous teasers: license type, market, scale band and a confidential process note, with an internal identifier and no identifying detail. Financial and operating information follows the NDA and approval.
- 04Do you represent sellers and buyers on the same deal?
- No. Bud Brokers represents one side of any transaction. When we run a sell-side process, network buyers receive the teaser as counterparties, not as clients.
- 05Is there a cost to register?
- No. Fee terms for buy-side advisory engagements are discussed privately and documented in an engagement agreement.
- 06Can I register for a single state or license type only?
- Yes. Narrow criteria produce better matches. Tell us exactly what you want and what you will not consider.
- 07How is the buyer network different from a listing site alert?
- A listing alert sends you whatever was posted publicly, after everyone else saw it. The network sends approved buyers confidential opportunities that were never posted, matched to a written mandate and to the ownership rules of the state, before or instead of any wider process.
- 08What if my ownership structure cannot pass review in a state I named?
- We tell you before any opportunity is shared. True-party-of-interest rules, cross-ownership caps and background standards differ by state, and a buyer who cannot be approved is not a buyer for that deal. Matching on eligibility protects your time and the seller's confidentiality.
