AI engines cite our clients

When a shopper asks an AI assistant where to buy, most dispensaries are invisible. Bud Authority clients are not just named, their own sites are pulled in as the answer's source. ChatGPT cited one of these builds in 7 of 7 runs. Open any engine below to read its actual pass: the customer prompts we replayed, the run counts, and what came back.

ChatGPT

OpenAI

The breakthrough. When ChatGPT runs a live local search, it named Terp Bros and cited terpbrosnyc.com in every single run.

With no live search, ChatGPT recalled national chains and state directories. No independent New York City shop was named at all, ours or anyone else's. Three runs per client per prompt.

Customer-phrased prompts are replayed against each engine several times. Presence is recorded as a RATE across runs, never a single-run screenshot. Named means the engine said the brand out loud. Cited means the engine linked the client's own website as a source of its answer.

On the record

Questions, answered on the record

How are these case study numbers verified?
Every figure is pulled from a named tool with a dated window: Google Search Console and GA4 through our Sentinel monitoring platform, Ahrefs for keyword profiles, and the Google Places API for review counts. The pull date and window render next to each number, and the underlying registry file is committed with the site build.
Can I check the results myself?
Yes, that is the point. Every case file links the client's live website, names the exact head keyword with its scan date, and states the measurement window. Search the keyword, visit the site, compare what you see against the receipt.
What did Bud Authority actually build for these clients?
Full Next.js dispensary websites with bespoke design systems, technical SEO, local SEO, AI-search optimization (AEO and GEO), schema graphs, and live menu infrastructure. Each case file states which services applied to that client.
Why do some case studies show declines?
Because hiding them is what vanity-metric agencies do. Terp Bros' file shows a June 2026 non-brand dip next to its diagnosis and the recovery work that shipped. Monitoring that catches a dip early is part of the service.
How fast do results like these show up?
Honest range from the files here: Purple Buds moved 359.9 percent in a single month after launch, while The Alchemy's 182 percent organic growth ran from August 2025 to May 2026. Market density, starting authority, and site history set the pace. No agency controls Google's clock.
